Our floor cleaning process runs on every single hire, regardless of event type, because a floor that has been sitting in storage or travelling to site needs to be presentable before it goes down in front of guests.
It matters most for weddings, corporate functions, and exhibitions, where a clean, polished floor is part of the first impression the venue makes.
It also matters for longer bookings, where a floor is in use across several days and picks up dust, marks, or foot traffic that needs attention partway through the event.
Our Floor Cleaning Process, Step by Step
When a floor is packed away after a hire, it is cleaned with a machine floor polisher at our factory before it is packed for transport. This gives every panel a proper clean while it is still on our premises, rather than relying on a quick wipe down on site.
The floor is then transported to the venue for installation. Our interlocking panels use the same composite technology found in modern portable flooring products, which click together by hand with no tools required. Once installation is complete, the floor is cleaned again before the site is handed over to the client, and for multi-day events we return to clean the floor again while it is in use.
